L&T Spirits was founded in 2024, in the great city of Chicago, with a singular vision — to craft and curate exceptional spirits that embody authenticity, tradition, and innovation.

From the rolling hills of Kentucky to the rich heritage of Irish craftsmanship, we import and produce premium spirits with an unwavering commitment to quality and consistency.

CEO/FOUNDER

Larry Sheppard

With over 40 years in the spirits, wine, and beer industry, I’ve dedicated my career to craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation. I’m the founder of L&T Spirits (est. 2024), the creator behind Noteworthy Butterscotch and Cherry Spiced Bourbons, and co-creator of Play Like a Champion Bourbon — each product crafted to reflect legacy, flavor, and storytelling.

My journey started at Millikin University (Class of ’79), and it’s been fueled by a lifelong passion for premium spirits, brand building, and creating experiences that bring people together.

Scott Burkholder

I’m a seasoned sales leader with over 31 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry, working across both supplier and distributor roles. My journey began fresh out of Minnesota State University, Mankato, as a sales rep — and I’ve never looked back.

What drives me is the passion to grow brands and connect with customers in meaningful ways. I thrive on crafting innovative strategies that not only drive results but also build lasting relationships. I’m a firm believer in the power of collaboration, clear communication, and lifelong learning. Whether I’m leading a team or launching a new initiative, I bring energy, insight, and a commitment to excellence every step of the way.

Lance Coers

I bring 30 years of experience across the retail, distributor, and supplier sides of the malt, wine, and spirits industry. With a strong foundation in budget planning, market development, strategic pricing, and product innovation, I’ve built a reputation for driving measurable growth and operational excellence.

A graduate of Wayland Baptist University, I’ve consistently leveraged my deep industry knowledge and leadership skills to deliver impactful results across every tier of the alcohol beverage landscape.
